    Tak to niestety jest jak się miesza naukę z ideologią i doraźną polityką, czego na tym forum, mam nadzieję, będziemy unikać.

    Doszedłem do przekonania że L23EE to rzemieślnicy handlowcy.
    Historycy przypisują moją rodzinę do, najstarszych mieszczan w Wielkopolsce i Kujawach.
    Wiem o dwóch innych rodzinach z L23EE o tradycjach rzemieślniczych.
    No i Probasko kupiec i bankier pochodzący z Wrocławia.

    Ribchester. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Histor...of_King_Arthur
    The hypothesis of a connection between the Alan and Sarmatian peoples and the legend of King Arthur[38] depends upon the fact that the Alano-Sarmatians were steppe nomads known in the 2nd century for their skill as heavy cavalry. In 175, Marcus Aurelius, after defeating the Sarmatian Iazyges tribe during the Marcomannic Wars, took 8,000 Sarmatians into Roman service, of whom 5,500 were sent to the northern borders of Britain. The 5th century Notitia Dignitatum mentions a "Formation of Sarmatians" (Cuneus Sarmatarum; cunei were small auxiliary units in the late Empire) being present at Bremetennacum (Ribchester), where we find inscriptions dating to the 3rd century CE of a "Wing of Sarmatians" (ala Sarmatarum) and a "Company of Sarmatian Horsemen" (numeri equitum Sarmatarum).

    @Silesian
    Nasz wspólny znajomy Włoch mówił iż szlachta Longbarska jest pochodzenia Alańskieg. Wie to od historyka. Należą do R1b-Z2103.
    Przepytaj go jeszcze w tej sprawie.

    While we wait for Polish result's to be released, let's have some fun, nothing serious or political! - Ancestry R1a and early grave sites in Poland.
    lukaszM posted map of old grave sites. I know you and lukaszM have R1a heritage as well.
    Here is a list of some Poles I know with R1a and cluster within Poland PCA,that post on forum; where do you think some R1a might be found, including your possible ancestor's, any idea's or theories?
    For example- Wielbark cemeteries,Przeworsk cemeteries,Wielbark kurgans....etc

    AFAIK, Rethel, lukaszM, Polako and Waldemar all belong to the so-called Slavic branch M458, while Artmar and me belong to clade CTS8816 under Z280, and more specifically to subclades Y2902 and L1280, respectively, so I strongly doubt that clades M458 or CTS8816 will be found in any significant numbers in any pre-Slavic culture from today's Poland, unless these are some very exceptional cases on the eastern periphery of Przeworsk, Wielbark, Pomernian and Lusatian cultures, or unless we are talking about cultures suspected of being associated with Balto-Slavic ancestry (like Trzciniec or West Baltic Barrow Cultures) where some early diverged subcclades under both M458 and CTS1211/Z92 are likely to be found.

    As for R1a in general (ie. when excluding the typical Slavic subclades), I consider it quite likely that some non-Slavic subclades/species (like Z283xZ282 or Z282xM458,CTS1211,Z92, among others) will be found not only in the Unetice, Lusatian and Pomeranian cultures, but also in the "Germanic" Oksywie, Przeworsk and Wielbark cultures, but this won't be related to any Slavs nor Pre-Proto-Slavs.
