I have a comment about the Distribution of Y-DNA L in Syria on the map
    On the map it appears that Y-DNA L is predominantly in large parts of Syria ,Actually Y-DNA L percentage is 51.0% only in Al-Raqqah city (33 of 65 samples ) ,and I saw on wikipedia that according to taken Samples in Syria ,haplogroups percentage were : J1 33.6% , J2 20.8% , R1a 10.0% and R1b 15.0% , E1B1B 12.0% , I 5.0%.
So I think Throughout Syria Y-DNA L doesn't constitute this This percentage shown on the map

I followed what it was written on the Wikipedia article, that is, East Syrians also had a higher frequency.

Yes I saw that on Wikipedia ,but the (33 of 65 samples ) from Al-Raqqah city are included in East Syrians ,because Al-Raqqah city is within the Eastern region of Syria ,Anyway we need more samples from other cities and towns in Syria to have more accurate percentages of Y-DNA haplogroups distribution throughout Syria

What are the sources of 30-50% L in the Eastern Anatolia (Kars-Erzurum-Ağrı region)? It is probably L1b-M317.
