The code in question is actually only good for $25 off Big Y. FTDNA accidently sent codes out for $25 off and $50 off any purchase with the new round of Mystery Reward coupons. I received two $25 off and one $50 off any purchase last night. This morning they had all changed from any purchase to Big Y. I'm kicking myself that I didn't use them while I had the chance because last night they were working for any test. That will teach me to be indecisive!

Luckily, FTDNA seems to honour the orders made from Australia and Eastern Europe, who woke up early with those mistaken coupons. I managed to use $50 for extension to 37 STR and it cost me 29$ only.
