Pinhasi et al. aDNA Paper (2015)

The ones in Felix's list look to be these right here...

EDIT: Doesn't look like that sample from Turkmenistan will be much use at all...The one from Turkey is what I'm looking forward to.

The Pinhasi-ERC paper from last week. I can't get the link right now, but it was published in PLoS One.

The Barcin sample looks like it should be a very good early Neolithic reference sample if we are able to get a decent amount of autosomal DNA from it that is. Does anyone know if it is male or female?

It seems there is slight mistake in the paper: they claim to have a sample from Kulubnarti S, Egypt, but the only Kulubnarti I can found is in Sudan, and according to Wikipedia is much younger than 2000 years old: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kulubnarti

That seems to be downstream of R1b-U152. So unfortunately tells us nothing.
