Well spotted, thank you. I'll add that shortly.

Took a quick hiatus from the forum recently, so I apologise unreservedly to any members who may have been waiting to access The Vault. I'll be available at least twice a week to expedite these requests in future. Am about to grant the requests shortly as well.

Thanks. Isotope papers are now sorted into that folder.

I don't really know what to do with genetics papers on archaic homo, Neanderthal etc. For the moment I have been putting them into Anthropology: Biological, in hopes that you will create subsections as in the forum:

    Anatomy and Physiology
    Human Evolution
    Health and Fitness

Archaic homo would then go in Human Evolution?

I have an interest in Archaeology, especially that of the Ulaidh (ancient Ulster) and have many articles which I would like to share. They are about the ancient Irish Royal Sites (especially Emhain Macha) and mostly by J.P. Mallory and Chris Lynn and most of them came from JSTOR. Is Archaeology acceptable and if so, where should they go?
    Thanks,

    Thanks,
There is an Archaeology section of the Vault under Anthropology > Cultural. I presume that is because Archaeology gets treated as part of Anthropology in the US academic system. I have put all archaeology papers there, without asking for any sub-folders, because I expect users will decide later on if and how they want that section arranged.

[Added] There are 430 items in the Archaeology section currently, but none are by Mallory or Lynn.

    Will create these now.

Regarding the Neanderthal etc. papers, I'll create a 'Hominids' area parallel to the above sections for their storage.

Thanks, I added a folder named "Ancient Irish Royal Sites" with sub-folders for:
    • Knockaulin - Dún Ailinne of the Laighin
    • Navan Fort - Emain Macha of the Ulaidh
    • Rathcroghan - Cruachain of the Connachta

I don't have much on Tara in PDF format.

I have created subclades under Non-Human Genetics : Fauna, as was so big, it was hard to navigate. I just used the common English name for species, such as "Cattle", I hope that is OK.

What has happened to the Vault? All content seems to have been stripped out of it. Has a user just transferred it to his or her own Google Drive, not realising that this has left the Vault empty? Papers should be copied and pasted over, not just moved.

This must have happened in the last few days, but I can't remember exactly when I last looked at it.

Quick update to the community regarding the above.

[Edit]: New information has come my way. It's possible the area might have been accidentally stripped of content. Still investigating. Retracting previous message.

For now, all non-staff have viewing access to the section only.

    Update.

The contents of The Vault look to be in my possession and a snafu on the part of a Gold class subscriber caused this momentary confusion.

I'll be restoring everything tomorrow morning and will ensure weekly backups of our data take place.

[Edit]: There's too much data for me to properly allocate in one go or by myself. I'll announce when the area is fully restored in due course.
