Since I have been out of the loop, there has been quite a number of new SNP's discovered and from the links you have provided they have been categorized. That is excellent news! I can only hope that a new SNP for the Scots Modal group is found in the WTY analysis, currently being conducted with one of our own 'Tate'. There is a large group of us 1030A-24 Scots Modal individuals and our success at finding a new SNP has been disappointing. However, I remain optimistic. Since there is such a large table of results for the Scots Modal individuals, has anyone attempted to date the Scots Modal or has anyone, other than Dr. Jim Wilson, came up with an approximate time frame?

The R-L21 WTY Summary table has been updated.

No new WTY results, but à la carte SNP results were updated as were "MikeW" variety labels.

There are still seven L21+ WTY tests pending; hopefully we will see results for N44383 (Tate, R-DF13**, Scots Modal) by the end of next week.

The R-L21 WTY Summary table has been updated.

Results are available for N44383 (Tate, R-DF13**, Scots Modal), coverage 411312bp. No new SNPs were found.

There are six L21+ WTY tests pending; next up will likely be kit 6879 (Mangum, probable R-Z253, 253-1711-M) in about 3-4 weeks.

À la carte SNP results and "MikeW" variety labels were also updated.

I think the R-DF13** guys are going to have to have all new Y areas explored.

There are seven R-L21 and R-DF13 results that are probably R-DF13**, but are missing required test results. The required missing tests were relatively easy to miss in the large table of all results, so I have excerpted the kits and missing SNPs into a separate file.

Two additional kits were just added to the WTY queue with an "arrived" date of 28 Sep.

One is an R-L2 kit, the other is kit 163654 (Killgore), R-DF21 and a member of
the 21-5909-LS Little Scots Cluster. This is the first WTY for the Little Scots
Cluster, and it will be very interesting to see whether any of the six "S" SNPs
that Jim Wilson found for this cluster will be independently found via WTY. The
backlog of WTY tests has thinned out, and there are just 13 in the queue in
front of this one, so hopefully we'll see the results in 2-3 months.

There are seven L21+ kits that are currently waiting in the WTY queue.

Next up in the WTY queue should be kit 6879 (Mangum), R-Z253, and with any luck
we should see the results next week.

The R-L21 WTY Summary table has been updated.

Due to additional à la carte testing by kits 170191 (Bond) and 24273 (Unknown), they were moved from the R-DF13 section to the R-DF13* section.

Results are available for kit 6879 (Mangum, variety 253-1711-M), coverage was 427148 bp. Relevant SNPs are: Z253+ L1308+ L226- L554- Z2184- L894- L895-

As suspected, L1066, Z2183 and Z2185 were not tested.

L1308 is new, and found using the L490 primers. I looked at the data for previous Z253+ WTYs, and once db updates are complete, I will be able confirm that kit 120936 (Merry) is L1308-. The other three Z253+ WTY results were not tested with the L490 primer, thus will not be able to call L1308 for them.

There are currently six more L21+ kits in the WTY queue. Next up should be N45540 (Peel, variety 13-1511A-T2-D), likely in 1-2 weeks and 173877 (Collins, variety 13-unassigned), likely in 2-3 weeks.
